Elite Technologies of Texas, Inc. ("Elite Technologies," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through elitetechoftexas.com, our services and our internal tools, how we use it, and the choices you have.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect only what we need to design, install and support your systems.
• Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, home or business address, and project details when you fill out our contact form, book an appointment, request a quote or call us.
• Service and project information: floor plans, equipment lists, network and system settings, and notes we create while designing, installing or servicing your system.
• Remote support sessions: when you start a remote support session, the support tool connects only for that session and only with your permission.
• Website information: basic technical data such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location, collected automatically by our website host and security tools.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use your information to provide and support the services you hired us for, including: responding to inquiries and scheduling appointments; preparing proposals, designs and scopes of work; installing, monitoring, maintaining and supporting your systems; ordering equipment and tracking shipments for your project; sending service notices, invoices and important updates about your system; and keeping our website and systems secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
SMART HOME SYSTEMS AND REMOTE MONITORING
Many systems we install can be monitored remotely so we can spot and fix problems quickly. For clients with remote monitoring, we receive device status information from manufacturer platforms such as OvrC (Snap One), UniFi (Ubiquiti), Savant, RTI, Lutron, Control4 and Vantage.
• What we see: device names, online or offline status, firmware versions, error alerts and the site the device belongs to.
• What we do not see: we do not view your cameras, listen to audio, or read the content of your personal devices through monitoring.
• Each manufacturer handles data under its own privacy policy. You can ask us to turn off remote monitoring at any time.
ELITE SERVICE HUB AND GOOGLE USER DATA
Elite Service Hub is our internal service dashboard. It runs on our own office computer and is used only by Elite Technologies staff. It is not offered to the public.
• Access requested: read-only access to our company Gmail account (the Google scope gmail.readonly), granted by us through Google's own sign-in page.
• What it reads: only equipment alert emails from our monitoring vendors and shipping notices from carriers and suppliers.
• How it uses that data: to show system alerts, firmware notices and incoming shipments on our internal dashboard. It never sends, changes or deletes email.
• Storage: the alert and shipment details it pulls out are stored only on our office computer. Our Google sign-in is stored there in a protected file and is never shared.
• No sharing: Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone. It is not used to train AI or machine learning models.
Elite Service Hub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.
You can remove the hub's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We share information only as needed to serve you:
• Manufacturers and distributors: to order equipment, register warranties and get technical support.
• Service providers: companies that host our website, email, scheduling, payments and remote support tools, under their own privacy and security terms.
• Builders, designers and contractors: project details you ask us to coordinate with them.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
If Elite Technologies is ever sold or merged, client information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
COOKIES AND WEBSITE TOOLS
Our website is hosted by GoDaddy and uses cookies for basic site functions and visitor statistics. Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which is covered by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.
SECURITY AND HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We protect information with access controls, secure passwords and two-step sign-in on our business accounts, and encrypted connections where available. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to staff who need it.
We keep client and project records for as long as we support your system and as needed for warranty, tax and legal purposes. Alert and shipment records in Elite Service Hub are cleared automatically after they are resolved or delivered.
YOUR CHOICES AND CONTACT
• Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it for legal reasons.
• Marketing: you can opt out of any marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
• Children: our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
• Changes: we may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
